Customer Service Representative - Comm/Data Market

The Opportunity:As a Customer Service Representative you will serve as a key member in our Communications/Data Sales Customer Service team in our Santa Barbara, CA office.  We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused professional who can handle order entry, follow-ups, pricing, billing, and credit and claims requests from customers to ensure total customer satisfaction.  We are looking for a talented individual who has the aptitude to learn and apply new skills/knowledge, and has a sincere interest in a career - not just a job.Responsibilities: Take an active role in selling Graybar Comm/Data goods and services on all inbound and outbound calls. Provide support on product selection and application. Coordinate the prompt handling of all Comm/Data customer requests including, but not limited to, order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claims. Assist the customer in the resolution of all disputes and claims. May participate in joint sales calls on Graybar customer base. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum two years previous Comm/Data customer service/sales experience required. Previous experience in comm/data industry a MUST! Able to hand a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact. Have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
