Delivery Driver/Service Tech - Class B CDL/Tanker/Hazmat

Ferrellgas is the second largest propane company in the United States and third largest propane company in the world. We are seeking a Delivery Driver/Service Technician at our South Shore, KY location.  Job Summary:  Under direction of Service Center General Manager this position is responsible for delivery of propane and installation of appliances in an efficient, punctual and safe manner.  Position requires a Class B CDL, high school diploma or equivalent, and physical demands, which include lifting 40-60 lbs.  Essential Functions:·  Responsible for checking and maintaining the integrity of associated appliances. ·  Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.  ·  During daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquires. ·  Driving company vehicle for repairs on appliances. Experience:·  High School diploma or equivalent ·  Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements preferred·  Speak, read, and legible write fluent English Working Conditions: ·  Lifts and/or moves equipment or materials weighing no more than 50 lbs.·  Stoops, stands, crawls, etc.·  Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather Equipment:·  Frequently lifting and moving 40lb or more during the day.·  Cylinder and/or Bobtail Truck – consistently throughout the day We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package, Employee Stock Ownership Plan, and bonus program.  Interested candidates should send resumes to: brianragle@ferrellgas.com or fax to: 304-453-2114. EOE/AAP/M/F/D/V – www.ferrellgas.com
