Delivery Manager

Responsibilities:

DeliveryProvide dedicated management of a limited number of projects Influence others to share and act on project vision. Create a supportive team environment encouraging risk taking and challenging members to exceed conventional expectations Facilitate successful delivery by advising on difficult client relationship and project issues Advise clients and staff on project developments and any implications related to project and client business unit Independently develop workplan, defined content, organization, and flow of project deliverables Ensure all delivered work products are consistent with GridPoint standards For a limited number of specific projects, deliver work products on time and on budget, independently by performing a majority of the following: Maintain relationship with all levels of client enterprise Define project approach Negotiate and control project scope with customer and GridPoint Sales to ensure project profitability as needed Act as point of escalation of issues and project developments for both the team and client Resolve project issues independently and communicate alternatives to team and client Perform ongoing risk management assessment on engagement Conduct work out sessions at client to gather requirements. Act as liaison between functional and technical resources to team and client Provide instruction and guidance on methodology and deliverables required. Review project deliverables to ensure quality and consistency Monitor project team for timely completion of administrative tasks such as timesheets, status reports, etc. Obtain client acceptance and sign-off on project documentation Provide customer feedback, as appropriate, to provide feedback loop to product development

Sales SupportDevelop proposals with GridPoint Sales with focus on cost and schedule of proposed solution. Responsible for final proposal development, coordination and distribution.
Proposals include the development of large proposals as well as smaller Test & Evaluate or Pilot efforts. Collaborate with sales and/or delivery teams to identify and obtain additional project work at existing clients

Career DevelopmentProvide career development direction for staff including project evaluations Provide mentoring/career counseling and informal performance feedback on a regular basis Facilitate knowledge sharing within project and group Recognize high performance and adequately celebrated team successes

Experience5 - 10 Years Professional Experience Proven success in managing systems integration projects Project management certifications (PMP) preferred Utility or Energy experience preferred Strong background in functional / process analysis Bachelors Degree Required, Advanced degree preferred
