Position:  Directional Driller for Rotary Steerable Systems

Degree:  BS Engineering

Experience:  5+ years

 

Job Description:

 

Required is an oilfield professional with Measurement While Drilling (MWD) and Directional Drilling (DD) experience for roll out of new rotary steerable system.  The Directional Driller will be part of a core group of Directional Drillers who will play a critical role in positioning this system as a best in class product.

 

Interest in technology development and problem solving is a must for this position as is the willingness to take ownership of results.

 

The Directional Driller will be responsible for all aspects of the directional drilling job cycle:

- Pre-job planning,

- On site job execution with the TerraVici Rotary Steerable System

- Reporting and post job analysis.

 

Job qualifications:

 

The candidate should be service oriented and possess significant experience in MWD and directional drilling.

 

Additional Requirements:

 Good “hands on” skills.  This position involves on the job supervision and operation of equipment.Self-starter with the ability to set and achieve goals without supervisionAbility to supervise other personnel including technicians, designers and junior engineersInterest in technical side of directional drilling and tool functionality
