Based in Phoenix, AZ, your mission is to engineer and build fully-operational solar thermal power plants. Your expertise in the engineering aspects of BOP (balance of plant) for a solar thermal power plant involving a large electrical collection and distribution system including power factor correction equipment, grounding systems, electrical distribution and high-voltage transformers will be called upon as you provide the technical guidance and direction to ensure that time and cost goals are successfully met. Leading a team of SES Project Managers and Engineers as well as various external engineering consultants, you will guide the development of the BOP design plan, project plans, budgets and schedules to ensure that all strategic suppliers and contractors are coordinated and integrated. Your extensive experience managing EPC contracts and expertise in construction methodology will ensure that specifications, bid packages, contractor selection, procurement, contract negotiations as well as technical portions of our permitting and certifications are thorough, targeted and include measurable deliverables. Your polished communication style will be essential as you work with our full extended team, including the SES team, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and utility customers.
