Great Opportunity for a Director of Sales & Marketing! Our client is seeking career motivated, goal oriented, and driven team builder to join the company.  Due to thriving business, my client is seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing. Purpose:  Lead and coordinate sales and marketing activities of the North American Telecom Department to optimize market share and profit margins of its Telecom Products. Investigate market needs and propose new or improved products and services to strengthen their competitive edge and to grow the department's business.  Target customers are major Telecom Service Providers (supplying telephone, data and television over fixed lines, cable or wireless) as well as their OEMs and contractors. Increase orders and sales in assigned markets and territory Control sales prices in order to optimize margins Check and approve all contract prices Lead or direct price negotiations Develop and implement growth plan for assigned territory Make sure all contractual obligations are acceptable either by direct (personal) or indirect (delegated) contract negotiations. Make sure proper management is in place for best possible execution Analyze market needs for new and improved products Provide new/changed product proposals with supporting business plan to strengthen their competitive position Provide new/changed product proposals with supporting Coordinate customer tech. requirements/approvals/standards with Engineering, Quality and Production Manage and motivate staff for optimum performance and effort. Propose and activate annual activities to support sales Make use of allocated resources (delegate) Operate within current budgeted limits Requirements:  Bachelor degree required in sales or telecom industry related area Advanced Sales training 10 years minimum in Technical, (preferably telecom related) Products Sales and Marketing PC Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Prior knowledge/experience with Telecom power supplies and batteries is an advantage Contracts negotiations and administration, Sales and Marketing, and Basic P&L analysis.  Bell procurement experience is an advantage  Contact Information: Manufacturing and Engineering Candidates that meet these criteria, or know someone whom they respect enough to refer, that are looking to join a company offering incredible potential and stability are encouraged to send a copy of their resume in Microsoft Word format to: bdellinger@mrbethlehem.com MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
