Distribution Design Engineer

Synergetic Design Inc., is presently seeking Distribution Design Engineers in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Incumbent must be able to design and stake electric power distribution facilities including single and three phase OH and UG services, primary extensions and DOT Projects. He/she must completely understand and execute the client's safety regulations and construction procedures. This also involves on-the-job coordination with construction forces and supervision. Candidate must be able to work year round in an outside environment, making site visits, meeting with customers, designing and staking the location of proposed electrical distribution facilities.

Job Requirements:

Candidates must have at minimum a two year degree in an Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or Engineering Technology degree or related field and/or three (3) to five (5) years of distribution design gas and/or electric experience.Auto CADD experience preferred and highly desired. 


Must have working knowledge of job scheduling, conductor ampacities, National Electrical Code and National Electrical Safety Code construction requirements (including clearances and guying).  Must possess excellent verbal and communication skills.

This position is subject to limited supervision and must be able to work independently. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate. Candidates should be able to demonstrate that they are a self-starter, savvy, reliable, and trustworthy.
