55,000.00 - 75,000.00 USD /year Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Engineering Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Company: Synerfac Technical Staffing Contact: Jon Egbert Email: Apply by Email Website: www.synerfac.com Distribution Engineer / Electrical Engineer Our client headquartered in the greater Chicago area is looking for a talented, driven and technically sound individual to join their growing team in King of Prussia, PA.  The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and make contributions to the team from their first day on board.  Please review the job description and requirements listed below... • Produce conceptual drawings and documentation • Design of utility power distribution systems including associated NESC codes & client specifications  • Prepare project specifications • Perform construction administration services on assigned projects (shop drawings, RFIs and site visits)  • Demonstrates excellent technical and professional engineering skills commensurate with years of experience.  • Coordinates with other engineers and supporting staff during preliminary and final plan preparation for conformance to standards and code requirements • Responsible for meeting assigned project goals & objectives and ensuring on schedule accurate completion within or below budget • Ensure that the company technical policies and procedures are practiced during the execution of team projects • Ability to build strong client relationships • Participate in new business development activities – developing proposals, conducting client presentations, exploring opportunities for additional revenue and projects • Demonstrate a proactive, collaborative approach with project team members, client representatives, review agencies and others as appropriate for the project.  • Meet or exceed client expectations Required Skills • Strong computer skills, specifically in the area of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook • Strong technical written and verbal communications skills.  • Ability to clearly communicate concepts and ideas • Self-starter who can work independently or part of a multi-discipline team  • Engineering degree in electrical or other engineering discipline Experience:  • 2-7 years • Drafting experience a plus • Distribution design experience with 34kv and under a plus • Overhead and underground design experience is preferred.
