Downstream Senior Manager/Project Manager

SAIC seeks consulting talent to grow its U. S. consulting practice-specifically in the downstream oil & gas industry. The SAIC Downstream Consultant will collect appropriate data and information, structure and analyze data, document lessons learned, and develop reports and communication involved with the design, development, and implementation of business services and solutions. Successful Business Consultants will have a track record and commitment to high-quality work products or deliverables. Typical consulting projects include operational optimization, performance and profitability management and portfolio management. GENERAL PROFILE: Roles or kind of work. *Business Assessments - business problem analysis and documentation; business requirements definition. *Data Analysis - financial and operational data collection, structuring, analysis, and reporting of findings; preparation of survey and interview instruments. *Business Process Analysis - mapping & modeling for communication and analysis; process design and definition; metrics and measurement collection and analysis. *Information Systems - interpreting business requirements; data mapping and modeling; developing technology specifications; vendor and options analysis. *Client facing - support client meetings; assist in facilitating small group project and client work sessions; and support client and stakeholder interviews. Education: *Bachelors Degree in business, management, accounting, finance, computer science, engineering, or related field. Required Skills: 10+ years experience in leading technology, business process reengineering or organizational design initiatives in the Refining, Marketing, Trading or Pipelines areas A background either with a Big 5 energy consultancy, or a Downstream-focused engineering, construction or process controls service organization Familiarity with leading Downstream application suites, such as SAP IS-OIL, OSISoft, AspenTech, Honeywell, Maximo and SAP Plant Maintenance Strong client-facing skills, with demonstrated success translating client requirements into projects Demonstrated project-management skill sets, including scope definition, work-plan design, resource allocation, billing and quality assurance (PMI Certification preferred) Ability to work effectively in manufacturing process environments, building relationships with personnel at all levels of the organization Company: SAIC Location: Chicago, IL Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Business/Strategic Management Company: SAIC Reference Code: 109235
