ERP Systems Analyst - MS Dynamics (Axapta)

Basic Job Functions: Provides systems/application analysis and support for First Solar’s Microsoft Dynamics (Axapta) ERP system and related modules/reporting tools.  Experience:  · 3-6+ years experience supporting an ERP system.· 1+ year experience using MS Dynamics (Axapta) a plus.· Experience supporting applications for medium-to-large size company, preferably with multiple locations and international footprint.· Experience in multiple manufacturing-related systems (Supply Chain, Inventory, Shop Floor, Quality, Warranty, CRM, etc.) a plus.· Experience working with global end-user base a plus.· Experience supporting reporting software such as FRx, SQL Server Reporting services or similar tools.· Experience with the Microsoft Solutions Product Stack (Biztalk, BI tools, .NET, Sharepoint, CRM) a plus.· Experience in determining end-user business requirements and objectives, and the demonstrated ability to develop application designs to meet those needs· Experience and/or ability to organize and collaborate with various resources (both internal and external) to drive resolution of issues or completion of tasks/projects.· Experience and/or ability to document business processes highly desired.· Experience and/or ability to work within a customer-focused, team-oriented environment highly desired.· Ability to handle multiple issues/tasks/projects of varying size simultaneously required.· Ability to communicate status/progress for projects to various levels of audiences required.· Ability to communicate effectively on phone and via e-mail required.· Ability to share knowledge with internal support team as well as train end users highly desired. Education:· 4 year degree in MIS/IT, Business Administration or related field required. Required Skills:· Proven ability and knowledge of application support· Excellent communication and organization skills· Proven interpersonal skills Essential Functions & Responsibilities Define scope, requirements, use cases, timeline for Dynamics AX (Axapta) system enhancements and/or changes to the related business processes.  Provide high level data and system architecture plans along with training and support requirements. Based on project requirements, define a build/buy strategy for projects. Create a time-boxed plan to deliver a solution in phases that maintains existing integrations with other First Solar operational systems. Implement, test and train stakeholders on a long term approach based on delivery schedule. Review, understand and implement new features. Train internal support personnel and end users on these functions. Perform all aspects of project management and lead the implementation of applications/modules/enhancements to support First Solar’s business. Manage project delivery team for new systems/enhancements to ensure meeting, scope, time, cost and quality. Communicate project progress effectively to stakeholders and MIS management. Test and implement changes, document and train users on new processes. Oversee the entire Change Management process while adhering to specific compliance measures (SOx, etc.) Review and document current processes with business leads. Provide required assistance in maintaining the current systems environment. Recommend short and long term changes. Interface with other business departments and vendors.
