Electric Communications Coordinator

National Grid seeks an Electric Communications Coordinator for the Electric Market Department located at Melville, New York.  In this position you will be responsible for the coordination of all LIPA (Long Island Power Authority) communications to customers in the Long Island, NY electric distribution region. These communications are a key component to the delivery of a world class customer experience.  Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

 Drive and improve customer communications content on the InternetLink to customer satisfaction survey findings to ensure continuous improvement and tracking of our progress to meet new customer expectations. Writing brochures, newsletters, bill inserts, bill messages and customer letters.Coordinate the programming for bill inserts and bill messages.Promote company programs and services to electric customers and satisfying regulatory requirements.Facilitate the education of customers on LIPA’s involvement in the community and environment.Work collaboratively with Graphic Designer in the final development and production of all LIPA publications.

 

 

 

Qualifications:BS/BA in Communications, Journalism or Marketing or a minimum of three years related work experience.3+ years of Customer Communications and Regulatory experienceKnowledge of electric rates and customer billing systems preferredProven track record of ability to communicate succinctlyAbility to develop business cases to continuously improve the communications processStrong Written and Verbal Communications SkillsMust provide 3 writing samples upon request
