Develop comprehensive, multi-year strategies for the electric Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business. The strategy will provide the overall road map to guide regulatory and financial planning activities for the electric T&D business.2. Develop regulatory strategies for the electric T&D business to guide development of the T&D business contributions to General Rate Cases at the CPUC, Transmission Owner rate cases at the FERC, and special filings with strategic importance. The work will involve development of policy, planning and oversight of supporting testimony and work papers. The manager may be called upon to testify in various regulatory forums from time to time.3. Develop the T&D Smart Grid strategy integrating T&D business needs with the Smart Meter project, energy procurement strategies and new emerging technologies like Plug-in-Hybrid vehicles.4. Develop and manage strategies and activities related to overhead to underground conversions to leverage the benefits of this program across other aspects of the T&D business.5. Develop long range strategies to incorporate new technologies into the T&D business planning process.
