Our client is an international market leader in the oil & gas services sector. Due to expansion the organization is seeking a suitably experienced and professionally qualified professional for their manufacturing site based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design and development of new control system products used in specialty equipment and will play an important role in meeting the needs of new customers, while maintaining high standards in output deliverables.

The OrganizationInternational market leader in the oil & gas services sector;Annual revenues of over $200M.

The ChallengesProvides expertise in control systems design from component level for use in specialty equipment;Completes analysis and development of designs to meet the needs of new customer requirements;Trouble shoots problems on existing systems and instrumentation;Interfaces with the manufacturing, production control and purchasing divisions and ensures acceptance of system designs or system design changes.

Education & ExperienceA graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, complemented by relevant courses in systems design and instrumentation;minimum of five years’ experience in the design of control systems and instrumentation;Experience in PLC is distinctly advantageous;Trouble shooting experience in mechanical engineering systems and instrumentation;Experience in working with mechanical systems controls.

Candidate ProfileLogical, creative and analytical approach to problem solving with a keen eye for technical detail;Flexible with ability to work cooperatively, engaging others in work outputs;Adept in presentation skills and above average communication skills;A co-operative team player with a bias for action and hands-on approach.
