Energy Analysts (2 Mid-Level & 1 Entry Level Positions)

Energetics is accepting applications for Energy Analysts to work in our Columbia, MD location.

 

Education/Experience:  This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Public Policy, or related field.  Candidates for the mid-level positions must have a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience; the entry level position requires one (1) to four (4) years of relevant experience, preferably in energy or environmental consulting.

 

Responsibilities:  The Energy Analyst position involves providing technical support to clients in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, mainly in the areas of industrial energy efficiency and renewable energy. Responsibilities include: analyzing industrial sector trends; performing analysis and preparing products to support a government/industry voluntary partnership to reduce industrial energy intensity; evaluating technical and market potential of new technologies; developing and implementing program strategies; preparing technical communications products such as fact sheets and briefings; and preparing website content.

 

Skills/Abilities:  Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, solid writing and presentation skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively work with diverse groups. Proficiency required in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Access).
