Energy Conservation Manager

Objective:

Develop and ensure the success of LGI Energy Conservation strategies utilizing proven industry standard methodologies. 

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

·  Develop/refine processes to benchmark, track and report costs related to energy savings.

·  Develop strategies/implement programs to reduce customer utility consumption/spending through demand side management.

·  Measure before/after/ongoing impact of energy for utility savings

·  Track/report the performance of all energy efficiency projects.

·  Communicate to senior client representatives/program mangers to ensure current accurate energy efficient processes are being utilized.

·  Provide technical assistance to Field Operations, IT, Research/Development and Sales departments.

·  Develop positive working relationships with utility company representatives.

·  Develop tactical approaches to maximize energy savings.

·  Prepare/present reports to clients on energy savings.

·  Support the development of business plans relating to energy management.

 

Requirements:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

·  EE, ME, or PE preferred.

·  4+ years Measurement and Verification experience.

·  4+ years verifying and tracking energy savings experience.

·  Strong understanding of HVAC and control systems.

·  Ability to understand and identify energy conservation measures.

·  Strong client presentation skills/experience.

·  Excellent communication skills regarding energy management.

·  Clear understanding of energy management software.

·  Ability to use software tools for calculation purposes (DOE, TRANE).

·  25 percent minimum travel required.
