POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT OPENING DATE: APRIL 1, 2008 CLOSING DATE: APRIL 7, 2008 JOB TITLE: Energy Efficiency Project Manager POSITION LOCATION: Portland, Oregon Energy Efficiency Department Contract Position at Bonneville Power Administration REPORTS TO: Steve Fucile, BPA Supervisory Public Utilities Specialist Cindy Griffin, CIBER, Inc. Administrative Services Manager JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the client, provides management of residential energy efficiency projects, ensuring maximum effectiveness in the use of resources for the timely completion of projects. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieves concurrence with Programs Manager, sector lead, and the residential team on program priorities, schedules, resource requirements, and quality measures. Develops new program initiatives, at the direction of the Programs Manager, sector lead, and the residential team including budget documents, timelines, marketing plans, and related materials necessary to implement the program. Coordinates with customers, staff, trade allies, and subcontractors to identify and resolve program issues and solutions. Performs support and lead planning and implementation role, under the guidance of the sector lead and Programs Manager in the quality improvement process at the project or program level. Reports program activities and progress to client customers, supervisors, and staff on a timely basis via written and oral presentations. Prepares program briefings, studies, letters, and support documentation as requested. Develops Draft 2009 Residential Sector Strategy in collaboration with the residential team. Other comparable duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Requires demonstrated experience in program or project management. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, management or other applicable field is required. A Master’s degree is desirable. Must possess the ability to analyze work problems and to identify and implement solutions independently. Ability to maintain working relationships, identify priorities, and organize daily assignments is required. Experience in the energy efficiency field is highly desirable. Ability to successfully complete background security clearance. Valid driver's license.
