Energy Engineer/Manager (Lemoore, CA)

Tetra Tech EM Inc., a leading energy and environmental consulting company is currently seeking an Energy Engineer/Manager in Lemoore, CA. The selected candidate will work onsite at the customer’s facility to provide comprehensive energy management services. Primary duties will focus on energy management, including program management services, but work will also include developing facilities energy efficiency improvements, developing distributed generation opportunities, developing renewable energy projects, providing energy training, performing design reviews, analyzing energy and utilities data, recommending improvements to utility procurement and operations, and related duties. The candidate will identify energy conservation opportunities and help facilitate the implementation of projects, initiatives, and programs that reduce energy consumption and demand, save money, and help the environment. The candidate will augment existing customer capabilities, work with both the customer and Tetra Tech in a team framework, and be an on-site action agent to facilitate energy and cost savings.  4-10 plus years of experience in energy management/engineering; strong HVAC background; experience with auditing, project development, life-cycle cost analysis, commissioning, and building/system optimization is a plus. Previous experience working at Federal / DOD facilities, particularly at the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, is a plus. Certified Energy Manager designation is a plus.  Also requires knowledge of utility information systems, energy management technologies and metering; excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills; working knowledge of personal computers and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.  BS degree in engineering or energy-related field is a plus but military or civilian experience working at NAWS China Lake or other Federal installations and/or experience in energy-related field is acceptable.  To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter online at www.tetratech/career (search for Job ID# EMI-SD-99).  EEO/AA
