Modular Process Control, LLC (MPC) is a progressive energy management consulting firm specializing in energy efficiency analysis and implementation for industrial manufacturing facilities across the country.  MPC has worked with over 250 different clients in the last 27 years in all types of process industries including petrochemical, chemical, paper, glass, tires, steel, castings, aluminum, adhesives and refining just to name a few.

 

MPC is seeking a qualified applicant with at least 5 years of plant manufacturing or refinery experience to join the Modeling Division team.

 

Job Details:

The Project Modeler will work closely with the MPC Operations Project team and client to develop an energy management measurement tool built within the MPC energy management system. This will require an understanding of the client’s process flow, major energy consumers, and the causal effects of energy demand within the flow.

 

Required Skills:

-  Understanding of diverse manufacturing process based operations or refinery processes

-  Experience in energy analysis with ability to quickly understand relationship between energy usage within manufacturing process steps, product mix, product volume, climate, etc.

-  Knowledge in accounting system and practices; strong mathematics background

-  A basic understanding of statistics

-  Gather, organize and prove data for model development

-  Ability to work with any level in client organization

-  Possess outstanding communication skills, both spoken and written

-  Exceptional attention to detail

-  Team oriented
