We are a fixed fee staffing firm and we will disclose this information with you and information about our client.Job DescriptionThe Pipeline Engineer is responsible for all facets of gas gatheringsystem engineering including expansion design, facility planning andoptimization. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Works with Commercial group to design and compile long-term system expansion plans. * Maintains and builds necessary pipeline and compression operating models. *Works with Operations to analyze systems for optimized gas flow and totroubleshoot and engineer solutions for any throughput issues. * Analyzes system expansion economics. * Models customer flow needs and ensures adequate system capacity. * Develops and manages capital budget plans.REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, civil or petroleum). Minor in petroleum engineering preferred. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office. * Solid data analysis skills. *Related experience which demonstrates a working knowledge of gasgathering systems including production operations, gas measurement,regulators and compression facilities. * Familiarity with the DOT CFR - Part 192 preferred. * Proficiency with pipeline modeling software preferred.
