Engineering Program Leader @ GE Energy

General:

This position will be responsible for developing and managing Engineering programs within the Power Plant Engineering (PPE) organization. This year’s engineering program budget in PPE exceeds $3MM. Major programs will be associated with the Energy Engineering Division, Global Field Operation and Engineering Services teams.



Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

- Provide cross-functional and cross-organizational program leadership and support for business initiatives within GE Energy and GE Infrastructure.

- Lead program and design reviews with stakeholders

- Communicate progress, status and issues to business leaders

- Develop and implement program strategies to support engineering initiatives

- Lead engineering analysis / studies required by the programs

- Interface and coordination with functional engineering teams, both internal and external customers.

- Maintain program budget and schedule.



Qualifications/Requirements:

Ø BS Degree in Engineering

Ø More than 5 years of power plant experience

Ø Plant design capability

Ø Excellent computer skills

Ø Good leadership & communication skill



Desired:

- Masters Degree in Engineering

- Green Belt Certified
