Environmental Coordinator

Environmental Coordinator position is responsible for providing support in developing and implementing effective environmental compliance and management programs for natural gas transmission operations.

 

Responsibilities include:

· Providing support for environmental programs including waste and water management; emergency/spill response planning; and air permit compliance.

· Maintaining and analyzing environmental data. Developing reports/presentations and making program recommendations based on analysis. 

· Preparing permit compliance reports as required by regulatory agencies.

· Providing technical assistance to field staff on environmental operations and issues.

· Preparing and presenting effective training.

· Developing and maintaining relationships with Federal, State and Local agencies.

· Collaborating with other Division EHS staff members on projects and initiatives.

 

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field and 3-5 years experience in environmental compliance

· Familiarity with federal and state environmental regulations, with particular emphasis on air regulations. Experience preparing air compliance reports.

· Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Customer-focused mentality. Comfortable communicating with all levels of management and employees.

· Strong presentation and facilitation skills

· Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team environment

· Organized and detail oriented

· Strong proficiency in MS Office software suite
