Global top-ranking consulting firm seeks an experienced Environmental-impact Analyst with a Masters degree in economics to join and compliment their international Energy team. Position Overview:Our client, a top-ranked international consulting firm, has an immediate opening for an experienced environmental-or-energy industry Analyst to compliment their international Energy Markets team. This organization has clientele which fully comprise the public and private sectors globally; to include governmental bodies. This Analyst role will assist in the application of subject-matter expertise to environmental- and energy-related issues – such as climate change, greenhouse gas-trading policies, econometric impact of air-quality, societal valuations, etc – and be responsible for applying theoretical and empirical economic and industry analysis including statistical, econometric and economic theory related to such matters; developing and evaluating modeling and other empirical methods for projects; drafting papers, presentations, and other media; client presenting; and oversight of multiple satellite-projects around the world.Requirements: Several years of real associated experience within Environmental arena and how such issues impact the Energy markets is required. Demonstrated ability to fulfill the above-mentioned role requirements as they relate to research, analysis, application, and associated collateral deliverables required. A Masters degree in economics is required. As is an undergraduate degree from a highly-competitive university or college, and a strong academic record. Excellent and comprehensive display of analytical and communication skills is required. The ability to work well within teams is very important.Compensation: Depending on applied experience, academic expertise, and depth and breadth of knowledge sets, the candidate could expect between $90-120K to start.
