Summary:
Actively work with field personnel, engineers, technical specialists, regulatory agencies, and other departments to facilitate ongoing understanding and DOT compliance with operations-related and construction-related regulations and practices associated with gas transmission pipelines.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepares DOT reports/scheduling and ensures on-time, under budget compliance completion.
Ensures internal documentation (O&M Manual, Emergency Plans, etc.) are compliant and up-to-date.
Ensures compliance with internal corporate processes regarding operations.
Ensures timely audit corrections/responses.
Participates in company sub-committees dealing with regulatory issues.
Stays abreast, communicates, and recommends action plans for new DOT rules and regulations.
Assist Manager of DOT Compliance O & M and capital budget preparation.
Education: Degree in Engineering- Areas of Engineering discipline considered: Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical.
Experience: Experience in gas or liquid transmission pipelines.
