Chevron Products Company is accepting online applications for the position of Facility Security Specialist located in Pascagoula, Mississippi through May 13, 2008.Overview:Security Facility Specialist assigned to Refinery Security under the Emergency Services ATL in Pascagoula, Mississippi.Qualifications:Key Job Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:• Assists in the supervision and administrative support of contract guard force operations.• Monitors daily logs, incident reports, post orders, training, safety performance, drills, and exercise activities.• Inspects and recommends repairs of physical security, perimeter protection and monitoring systems including access control, barriers, CCTV, fencing, gates, parking areas, communications equipment, signage and lighting to ensure proper operations. Initiates the systems to track and complete the recommended repairs and ensures the repairs are completed.• Coordinates with appropriate agencies, business units, contractors, planning sections and procurement to ensure reliability and sustainability of all security systems.• Monitors and integrates security systems and processes; including lock and key control, contraband search and inspection, access control, traffic control, loss prevention, material and equipment control, visual and/or electronic surveillance to provide early warning and to prevent unauthorized entry, theft, damages or abuse.• Assists FSO in development and implementation of Project Security Plans for special projects, shutdowns and support of other business unit activities by enforcing, recommending, and updating security policies, procedures and manuals.• Provides Awareness and Education presentations to ensure compliance training for employees and contractors with applicable regulations and polices.Required (Basic) Qualifications:• 5 years industrial/facility management experience or local, state, federal law enforcementPreferred Qualifications:Relocation Options:Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters.International Considerations:Expatriate Assignment will not be considered.EOE M/F/D/V Learn more about Chevron Location:US-MS-Pascagoula Status:Full Time, Employee Job Category:Quality Assurance/Safety
