•Salary/Wage:65,000.00 - 85,000.00 USD /year •Job Category:Accounting/Finance/Insurance Summary:  Growing energy company in central Houston seeks strong Financial Analyst Description:  This highly visible position will report to Senior Management and assist with internal and external financial reporting; treasury and debt management; and other projects as assigned. Ensure adequate reporting controls to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial results, including maintaining the financial and statutory reporting calendar Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable authoritative literature, including performing technical research and making recommendations thereon Assist in the timely consolidated monthly internal financial and management reporting to Senior Management and the Board of Directors Assist in timely consolidated quarterly financial reporting to both exchanges and various other statutory reporting requirements of the Company and its subsidiaries, including coordination with the external auditors, preparing MD&A and footnotes Coordinate the various subsidiaries' statutory audits Assist in monitoring treasury movements Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the lender/debt compliance Other special projects as assigned from time to timeRequirements: Accounting, Finance or equivalent degree MBA and/or CPA preferred 6 + years relevant experience Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Excel emphasis Working knowledge of GAAP Oil & Gas experience preferred Canadian/UK Exchange experience a plus
