About the Position:

The Field Energy Analyst Manager (FEA Manager) will contribute as both a Field Energy Analyst and manage a team of Field Energy Analysts and office staff that motivates, advises and enables grocers to implement significant energy savings projects. FEA Managers are accountable to achieving specific energy efficiency goals and are responsible for the success of their direct and indirect reports.  Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated commitment to energy efficiency initiatives.

 

Make an impact: last year this PECI team helped grocers reduce energy use, and so avoid burning more than 20 million pounds of coal.

 

The Field Energy Analyst Manager will work from a home office, coordinate with office based team members, lead other remote and office based team members and work and travel throughout a defined territory in Northern California.

Responsibilities:

This position manages the field team:

· Manages Field Energy Analysts and office-based staff

· Sets goals and performance expectations for team members

· Mentors a team of  Field Energy Analysts

· Bridges program goals and implementation by creating appropriate tactical strategies

· Works with each FEA to develop a tactical approach to maximize energy savings in their respective territories

· Works as a member of the program management team

· Works closely with office-based staff to ensure the program’s success

 

Contributes to the program team as a Field Energy Analyst:

· Audits grocery/refrigeration facilities

· Prepares and presents reports for grocery owners

· Proactively develops, manages and expands customer and contractor relationships

· Develops creative ways to achieve program objectives

· Manages the paperwork process for grocer incentives to assure timely payment

· Facilitates and tracks energy efficiency projects, including coordinating with numerous project players, working with utility representatives and performing project management
