Finance & Accounting Director

Sandhills Utility Services, LLC (SUS) a progressive, forward thinking Electric Distribution Utility company; serving the U.S. Army Facility of Fort Bragg, has an immediately available long term opportunity for a Finance & Accounting Director. Located on the base in Fort Bragg, NC, 75 miles south of Raleigh, the position affords challenging and meaningful work, in a location with extensive local opportunities and close by urban amenities. The position will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for all the Finance and Accounting functions of the company with annual operating revenue of $30 million, includes: hands on accounting work,  development of financial forecasts, administration of company accounting systems, and oversight of the budgeting process, cash management and investments. Position will supervise a staff of professional and paraprofessional accounting personnel. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent and a CPA designation is preferred. Successful candidates should have thorough understanding financial forecasting, and cash management.
