We are currently recruiting for a Service Technician Class 5 to be located in our Eveleth, MN  office.  In this position, you will repair, service and install domestic appliances including HVAC equipment; promote and sell non-regulated services (home services); perform duties to ensure the safe and reliable operation of a natural gas distribution system including odorometer tests, line locating, periodic inspections and other gas related duties as assigned. You will provide operational support to install, remove, read and replace gas meters, investigate gas leaks and carbon monoxide calls, complete meter routines and activities such as turn offs, collections and turn ons. This position is on call/standby 24X7 on a rotating basis.

 

This position requires a Technical Degree in Appliance Repair, HVAC, and/or Natural Gas Distribution or equivalent education/experience.  A Power Limited License – MN, a certificate in Heating, Air Conditioning Repair – MN, or an Appliance Repair Certification is preferred.  1+ years of experience in appliance repair, HVAC repair, the natural gas distribution system, and computers is required.
