Note: Position may be filled as a HR Rep I, II or Sr. dependent upon the candidate's experience and education level.
Consult with management and employees in the administration of all Human Resources programs, policies and procedures. Provide support in the following areas: Staffing, Salary Administration, Performance Management, Employee Performance Improvement, Employee Development, Disciplinary Issues, Succession Planning, Compensation, Investigative Services, Employee Relations / Labor Relations, Legal Compliance, Training, Behavioral Interviewing, EAP, Health & Welfare programs, Employee Terminations. Develop and revise HR administrative procedures and policies when applicable. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and regulations. Able to prioritize work, maintain confidentiality, effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously, take initiative, possess sound reasoning and problem solving skills, handle sensitive situations and issues, function as a team member as well as work independently, be able to accomplish directives from managers across state boundaries, develop and conduct presentations to management. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to earn credibility with management and employees on HR issues. Possess solid detail-oriented skills; committed to timely and thorough resolution of issues; consistently meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related degree with a minimum of three (3) years experience (will consider less experience for HR Rep I) in the areas of: Employee Relations-field HR role, Labor Relations/Grievance Handling, Performance Management, Salary Administration, Employee Development, Compensation, Benefits, etc. Proficient in HR IT applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, HRIS etc. Excellent communication skills. Knows and applies relevant fundamental concepts (from several different HR disciplines). Requires strong analytical ability and originality.
Desired Skills:
Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) Certification. MBA. Project Management experience.
