International oil and gas exploration and production company is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator.

 

HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

  Responsible for bi-monthly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees. Assist in the recruiting function by Scheduling interviews between applicants and managers Submit background checks Coordinate new hire paperwork (I-9, parking cards, etc.) Assist in typing offer letters Send response to resumes received from external website Relocation – liase with moving company and new hire Answer employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, etc. Maintain all data in Human Resources Information System Vacation time Status changes Maintain personnel files Record retention

           

Education & Experience: College degree required. PHR preferred Must have thorough knowledge of employment laws and payroll regulations 2 years payroll experience (experience with expatriates a plus) 2-5 years HR experience (oil and gas experience a plus) Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

 

Interpersonal Skills: Must have a hands-on, willing to learn attitude. Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment. Must be action oriented, willing to take calculated risks. Must be adaptable and able to work with different international cultures. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail. Maintain high degree of confidentiality at all times. Must be highly motivated and enthusiastic.
