Human Resource Manager

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Human Resource Manager Northeast of the Atlanta area.

We develop and manage utility-sponsored programs, from program design through long-term customer care; we install demand response, home automation, automated energy management, outage notification and other metering devices. 

 

In addition to equipment installation, we provide a full range of professional program services, including program design, marketing, customer recruitment, program evaluation and long-term customer care - a total turnkey business solution. 

 

 

 

Summary:     Designs, plans and implements human resources programs and policies including staffing, compensation, employee relations, and health and safety programs. 

 Duties

 

  Dept & Company Management Responsible for day-to-day operation of Human Resource department;Responsible for supervision of human resource staff;Recruiting and Staffing;Organization development;Policy development and documentation;Employee relations;Company employee and community communication;Established the company wage and salary structure;Employee safety;Employee services and counseling;Partners with management to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, programs and laws;Reviews, guides, and approves management recommendations for employment terminations;Keeps the CFO and the executive team informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of company goals, and those that are not being addressed adequately at the line management level;Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals;Reports to the CFO.

 Experience and Requirements

 

§  A bachelor’s degree in a related area.

§  Broad knowledge and experience in compensation, organizational planning, development employee relations, safety and development.

§  Excellent oral and written communication

§  Excellent computer skills

§  General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.

§  Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.

§  Excellent organizational skills.

§  Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations preferred.

§  At least 7 years of experience in the field.
