IT Project Manager

Atlas Energy Resources LLC develops and produces domestic natural gas and to a lesser extent, oil.  We are one of the largest independent energy producers in the Applachian Basin and northern Michigan.

 

We have an immediate opening for an experienced IT Project Manager, to be based in our Uniontown, OH office.

 

The primary functions of this position are:  mmanage major IT projects using the company SDLC (software development life cycle), maintain project documentation for SOX purposes (change management), and serve as liaison between the user community and the IT department.

 

This position reporting directly to the CIO is responsible for the following:Participating in the design of new systems and applications;Scheduling planning, implementation, and testing of new and modified systems;Leading project status meetings;Preparing change management documentation for SOX;Preparing and maintaining documentation and manuals in compliance with departmental standards; and,Performing special projects as requested by the CIO.

The successful incumbent will possess the following:Two year degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.Four years experience in IT project management.Exposure to the oil and gas industry is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Good knowledge of Microsoft applications including Microsoft Project and Visio.
