In House Attorney - Commercial Transactions

Our client, a mid-stream pipeline company is engaged in the transportation, storage, terminalling and marketing of crude oil, refined products and liquefied petroleum gas and other natural gas related petroleum products. The company handles the movement of over three million barrels per day of crude oil, refined products and LPG through their extensive network of assets. 

 

The company is looking for a lawyer with a minimum of five-seven years of on-point commercial-related experience to advise the Company on legal issues in commercial law; crude oil purchase, sale and exchange contracts; propane transactions and regulatory matters; real estate, property and rights of way; Canadian/US cross border activities; crude oil tanker imports; carrier bond applications; IRS Form 637 applications for gasoline blendstocks; ISDA and foreign exchange agreements; confidentiality agreements; bankruptcy and credit issues; maritime; state tax registration and compliance process.  The lawyer will work closely with and will advise the marketing department, treasury and credit department, propane business unit, accounting department and business development. The lawyers work very closely with the various business units and there is much opportunity for internal advancement and diversification of experience.
