This candidate would be placed in an entry level/intern role at our Laramie facility and will be performing duties such as: Conducting routine rounds, inspections, laboratory tests as required for water/wastewater treatment plants Mows lawns and trims plants Performa routine maintenance tasks as required Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:The work area can involve exposure to inclement weather, loud noise, active machinery. Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, twist and bend at the waist, turn, kneel, squat, raise arms above shoulder height, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements and fine coordination to operate equipment, have vision sufficient to operate equipment, have hearing in the normal range with or without correction. In an 8-hour shift must be able to transport self across the facility, lift objects up to 50 pounds from floor level to waist height, climb into and out of vehicles having high ground clearance, wear and use appropriate safety equipment.Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Possess a valid driver's licenseIn addition to the basic qualifications, the ideal candidate would meet the following preferred qualifications: Basic knowledge in the operation and maintenance of mowers, weed eaters, and skid steers Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of hand and power tools Benefits: Medical and Dental Plans Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance Short Term and Long Term Disability Income 401(k) Plan with company match Employee Ownership Paid Time Off Program Flexible Work Scheduling Business Casual Dress Learning and Development Opportunities Tuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance Program Voluntary Auto and Homeowners InsuranceCompany Profile:Employee-owned CH2M HILL is a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction and operations for public and private clients.
