International Controller

Prominent West Houston Company is seeking an International Controller. This company is a leading international energy services company. Due to growth, they have created an International Controller position to be based in its Houston headquarters. This position reports directly to the CFO and will be joining a very talented and cohesive team.

Following are some specifics related to the position:

 

Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibility for the reporting of the international operations Insure compliance with Group accounting policies Administer statutory (host country) reporting compliance Administer process and procedures Review & improve system/procedure performance Analyze and interpret financial data Work with Tax & Legal Departments for in-country set for new locations Direct budgeting process and analytical interpretation of same Staffing as required

 Experience 5 years prior experience working as a Controller or Assistant Controller in a similar or related industryExposure to international operations Practical knowledge & use of ERP systems

 QualificationsA degree in accounting or financeCPA desired, or in pursuit of Ability to travel,  approx 20% Excellent communication skills Excellent people skills
