RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain web pages, forms, and other components of externally facing web sites using the various programming languages including (X)HTML CSS JavaScript CFM Data form creation and linking to databases Working knowledge of Flash is a plus Background in graphic and/or web design is a plus Experience with other front-end technologies such as AJAX and DOM scripting considered a major plus. Experience with backend technologies such as PHP, Perl, Python and SQL is a plusCoordinate Internet Marketing activities including, but not limited to: Organic and paid search engine marketing programs Affiliation programs Landing pages Email marketing Lead generation Manage Internet marketing and sales related policies and procedures Identify technical issues and coordinate resolution. Research, design, and implement new features and functions for externally facing web sites and keep current on trends in interactive marketing. Utilize third party web reporting tools by applying tagging to pages and monitoring reports. Identify, monitor, and assess new web technologies and related business web applications. Ensure the maintenance of a consistent corporate image throughout all Internet content and Internet marketing programs. Perform other duties as assignedSKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred.Experience: At least one year of experience developing and maintaining business-to-business web sites, managing search engine marketing. Knowledge: Knowledge of wholesale distribution or retail industries. Ability to understand web based technologies and integrate well with IT organizations. Good oral and written communication skills, writing, and web design skills. Good ability to identify and assess web technologies and their positive impact to Graybar’s business processes. Good project management skills. Highly organized with attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple projects at one time. NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: 8:00 a.m. ‑ 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday Some overtime required(Note: The normal work schedule may vary depending on location.)
