This role is responsible for investigating audit claims against BHPB and recommending corrective action to resolve.  This role would also be responsible for hosting International Joint Venture audits and assisting with the hosting of US Domestic Joint Venture audits.  This position reports to the Joint Venture Audit Finance Team Leader. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required. 5-7 years upstream Petroleum Joint Venture Auditing and/or Petroleum Joint Venture Accounting experience required. Public Accounting experience would be a plus. Working knowledge of SAP required. Microsoft office products with proficiency in Excel and Word. ACCOUNTABILITIES Investigate audit claims against BHPB and recommend corrective actions to resolve Host International Joint Venture Audits against BHPB Assist in hosting of Domestic US Joint Venture audits against BHPB Host multi-venture audits against BHPB for International operations Assist on non-operator audits as time permits Travel will involve minimal domestic U.S. Assist in the preparation of monthly reports to Petroleum Finance management Provide ad hoc advice on Joint Venture audit related issues OTHER

The individual filling this position would need to be a self-starter, have good analytical skills, have above average written and communication skills, be customer focused and a team player.
