Lead IT Auditor

Key Responsibilities:administratively to the IT Audit Services Manager.Accountabilities:Execute information technology (IT) audit projects within prescribed budgets and at a highdegree of quality.Direct the day-to-day efforts of assigned audit personnel.

Ensure high quality audit results.Prepare and present well-crafted audit report deliverables.Assist in the development of short- and long-term audit plans for Audit Services throughparticipation in risk assessment activities.Review audit work of assigned staff for completeness and accuracy.Build and maintain effective client relationshipsProvide feedback to audit staff assigned to audits.Maintain current knowledge of matters impacting IT, the energy industry, audit,

Tasks/Duties:Plan and lead IT audit engagements of all sizes and levels of complexity, including theperformance of risk assessments, development of scope, approach, and work programs.Conduct audit interviews and execute audit procedures.Prepare audit reports and other communications.Perform audit condition follow-up procedures.Participate in annual risk assessment processes, including the identification of key risks across theenterprise and participate in development of the Spectra Energy annual audit plan.Provide recommendations and explanations regarding IT controls and best practices to internalclient personnel.

Basic Qualifications:Four (4) year degree in computer science, information technology, computer information systems,business, finance, or other applicable field.Four (4) or more years of IT audit, IT, or related experience.Ability to travel 10-20%.Desired Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately using oral and writtencommunications with all levels of management.Demonstrated ability to assess and determine risk impacts.Functional auditing knowledge and technical skills and ability to apply auditing protocols.Ability to logically reason, analyze and evaluate data and information, and draw appropriateconclusions.Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.Varied IT experience including areas such as IT security, client/server, web-based systems,interfaces, databases, networking, etc.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Internal and external auditing experience, preferably within a Big 4 environment and/or theenergy industry.Professional Certification – Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Internal Auditor,Certified Information Systems Security Professional, or other professional IT certification.Advanced experience/knowledge with various IT products, technologies, concepts, andapplications, including WAN/LAN, wireless, Active Directory, Windows Server, UNIX, Oracle,SQL Server, SCADA, PeopleSoft, SAP, firewalls, routers, Citrix, virtualization, DR/BCP, andSAN.Ability to understand global context/responsibilities of the audit function.Demonstrated project management experience.Advanced degree such as an MIS, MIT, or MBA.
