Lead Production Supervisor

Position Description:

Duties will include: Coordinating shift-to-shift activities to facilitate the safe completion of the 30-day schedule and to maximize unit output Making business decisions for emergent conditions that occur across all shifts Working with Production Supervisors to coordinate all on-shift activities Supervising a team of Production Supervisors and the Operating staff Providing crew training, direction, development and certification, as well as ensuring safe work practices Coaching supervisors on issue and conflict resolution Interacting with Union leadership on matters involving the Working Agreement Ensuring compliance with operating procedures and documentation Managing the O&M budget Position Requirements:
Success requires: A high school diploma or GED 5-10 years of power plant experience Demonstrated successful leadership experience Leadership experience in both a 1st line and 2nd line supervisory capacity is highly desirable Background in plant operations, preferably with maintenance and equipment assessment experience A good working knowledge of plant systems and equipment preferred, as well as excellent communication, computer, analytical, teamwork and organizational skills The ability to set schedules and an understanding of the Working Agreement, conflict resolution and safety and health regulations are also preferred Response Information:
