Lead Sr. Associate (PC/LAN Support)

This opportunity is located in Salem, NJ.

Consult with client area management and staff on all aspects of PC/LAN design and configuration in a multi server environment. Participate in the planning, coordination, and installation of new or modified LANs. Identify and resolve network problems or malfunctions. Provide technical support and guidance to client and systems areas through consulting, teaching and publication of documentation. Prepare instructions and documentation for installation personnel. Conduct on-site training of LAN administrators and provides network and PC hardware support for the client area. Analyzes network problems, takes corrective action if possible and/or determines if vendor assistance is required. Initiate and coordinate corrective actions.

 

Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least four, typically six or more years experience in network/systems design, installation, and operation, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Knowledge of telecommunications operations, business requirements and area work flow processes. Ability to work at the highest level of all technical phases of PC/LAN management while working on own most of the time.

Desired: MCSE/MCSA. Expertise in Microsoft products and technologies.
