We have an immediate opening for a Human Resources Location Manager located in the Woodlands, Texas.  This role will focus on HR support to Hughes Christensen's Headquarter Location.  Only local candidates who are authorized to work in the US for any employer without company sponsorship will be considered.Responsibilities Supervises location team. Implements and coordinates policies and programs covering several of the following: recruiting, training, employee and labor relations, and personnel research. Provides HR consulting expertise to all levels of management and employees within Baker Hughes on HR policies, procedures and programs. Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of issues and resolves through a systematic and analytical approach. Assures compliance with all applicable laws and corporate policies/guidelines and identifies opportunities to develop and implement new practices/guidelines to achieve business goals. Implements organizational HR initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, including performance management systems (compensation, mid-year and year-end reviews).  Ensures that all HR administrative functions are handled in an accurate and timely manner. Assists in establishing policies and procedures including disciplinary policies and monitor their application and enforcement to ensure fairness and consistency. Advises, reviews and approves any disciplinary issues/concerns performance issues, discharge.  May have budgetary responsibility. Provide guidance to managers with regards to salary administration, recruitment, selection, etc. Resolves internal employee complaints and those filed with federal, state and local agencies involving employment practices. Handles special projects, as assigned. Education, Experience and Skills Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Master's Degree a plus. 8+ years HR experience. Must have supervisory experience. Professional certifications a plus. Broad knowledge of several HR principles, practices, and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with multiple people at many levels and work as part of a team. Effective management skills.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Master's Degree a plus. 8+ years HR experience. Must have supervisory experience. Professional certifications a plus. Broad knowledge of several HR principles, practices, and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with multiple people at many levels and work as part of a team. Effective management skills.
