Maintenance Manager - Power Plant Facility

We invite you to join a team of professionals providing superior service throughout North America. We are searching for a Maintenance Manager for a Combined Cycle Power Plant in Astoria, NY (Borough of Queens) Responsibilities include but not limited to:  Overseeing the maintenance and repair of a combined cycle power plant facility and equipment. Managing the implementation of the plant's Maintenance Program and identifying those items which need improvement or additional work. Working with the plant operating staff to assure plant facilities and equipment are maintained in a safe and efficient operating condition at all times. The successful Maintenance Manager will have the following education/experience:  Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or equivalent required. 5+ years experience in Maintenance Management in a power plant or similar experience required. Power generation or continuous manufacturing experience highly desired. Strong electrical and microprocessor based control background, strong rotating equipment experience and an ability to use personal computer based preventive and predictive maintenance tools desired. At least 2 years experience supervising technical, supervisory and administrative personnel required. Strong leadership and motivational skills required.  What you should know about this permanent opportunity. This is an exempt salary position.
