Maintenance Technician

We are seeking new associates that are motivated to contribute their talents to making cost effective solar energy an important part of the world’s energy mix. The successful incumbent will be responsible for performing, as directed, all necessary maintenance of the facility, equipment and grounds, in a timely and cost efficient manner. Technical requirements include knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, SPC and process control techniques, print reading, knowledge of electrical, mechanical, vacuum systems and laser operations, building codes, project leader experience, and proficiency in MS Office software. More specific electrical knowledge needed includes PLC troubleshooting and programming, control panel fabricating/building experience, industrial electrical experience with sizing wire and conduit (EMT & rigid) per electrical code, electronic component troubleshooting experience. Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma or GED and 2 to 5 yrs. maintenance experience. A 2 year associate degree or equivalent program in a technical discipline preferred. Additional Information: 12 hour, rotating 2/3/2 schedule is the only available position.
