Management Development Principal Specialist

Exelon Corporation is currently seeking an experienced Management Development Principal Specialist for our Downtown Chicago location. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following: Responsible for management and effectiveness of management development programs and practices for specific business unit clients. Manage the business talent review, succession planning and other talent management processes including planning, session design, facilitation and reporting to support effective talent selection, development and management for assigned business unit. Facilitate utilization of assessment tools and ensure established feedback processes are followed. Manage the individual development planning process in assigned business unit providing coaching to leaders and managers regarding effective and appropriate means for training and developing talent. Ensure attendance at leadership programs is aligned with individuals’ development plans. Ensure that the Exelon Employee Survey and other feedback surveys are administered.  Provide analysis and recommendations to business leaders. Manage feedback and action planning sessions and data analysis to drive organizational improvements. Participate in and sometimes lead project teams to support the development and implementation of enterprise-wide management and leadership development processes and programs. Work with business unit leaders to develop and implement programs and initiatives that respond to business critical needs. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business or related field. Masters degree or MBA preferred. 6-8 years experience in HR-related functions that include management/leadership development. Ability to operate independently with minimal direction from manager. Demonstrated personal drive and sense of urgency pushing self and others for results; delivers on results despite obstacles. Proven coaching and influence skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Fosters teamwork and collaboration.  POSITION SCOPEOperates independently with general direction from manager. Interacts with client/site VP’s and Key Managers.
