Management Development Senior Specialist x 2

EXELON CORPORATION is currently seeking  2  Management Development Senior Specialist. One for Warrenville, IL & the other for Oakbrook Terrace, IL. The position for Warrenville requires travel; basically covering two of our Nuclear Sites (Braidwood & LaSalle Station).  The candidate can make the Braidwood, LaSalle or Warrenville location their home office/base. Braidwood---35100 South Rt 53, Braceville, IL 60407 ( 58min South of Warrenville)LaSalle--2601 North 21st Rd, Marseilles, IL 61341 ( 1hr 15min South of Warrenville)  The second position is at our Oakbrook Terrace location, which has minimal travel, but the position ismore focused on Delivery MD (ComEd support) vs Nuclear generation.  PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:Responsible for implementation and ongoing maintenance of management development programs and practices for specific clients and/or sites.  PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:Facilitate the business talent review, succession planning and other talent management processes to support effective talent selection, development and management. Support the individual development planning process in assigned clients.   Coach managers and employees in the individual development planning process, to drive effective utilization of development tools such as job assignments, job rotations, assessments, development programs, training and coaching and mentoring.   Ensure attendance at leadership programs is aligned with individuals’ development plans. Serve as the organizational development point of contact for clients.   Work with clients to implement initiatives and programs to respond to business critical needs.   Implement the results planning process for the Exelon employee Survey, providing analysis and recommendations to business leaders to drive organizational improvements. Participate on project teams to support the development and implementation of enterprise-wide management and leadership development processes and programs. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:Minimum:Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business or related field. 4-6 years experience in HR-related functions that include management/leadership development and talent review. Ability to operate independently with minimal direction from manager & travel locally. Demonstrated personal drive and sense of urgency pushing self and others for results; delivers on results despite obstacles. Proven coaching and influence skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferred:Masters degree or MBA preferred.
