We currently have an IMMEDIATE opening for a Manager, Performance Engineering, located in Westborough, MA.

Job Requirements

Reporting to the Director of Performance Engineering, the successful candidate will oversee development and implementation of measurement and verification (M&V) plans for energy savings performance contracting projects at universities, hospitals and municipal, state and federal government facilities. Responsible for supervision and training of engineers assigned to M&V. Responsible for review and approval of M&V budgets and plans Specific Responsibilities • Coordinate resource requirements with project teams and other departments. • Supervise M&V plan development, and approve construction and service phase M&V budgets • Evaluate performance risk for proposed M&V approaches, and review technical feasibility and cost effectiveness of final M&V plans. • Oversee baseline and post-installation data collection, including trend data from building automation systems, field performance tests, short term monitoring and power measurements. • Review and approve post-installation and annual reports • Supervised investigation and resolution of performance issues. Develop remedies for savings shortfalls, and present proposed remedies to customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering and at least 10 years experience in energy efficiency and /or performance contracting. Must be Licensed Professional Engineer, Certified M&V Professional is desirable. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication, math and problem solving skills and be able to work both independently and in a team environment. Demonstrated experience in energy analysis of building systems, including HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, and variable speed drive applications is required. Must be familiar with FEMP M&V Guidelines, ASHRAE Guideline 14, and IPMVP
