Large Corporation in the Oil/Gas/Energy industry in the Houston downtown area.

JOB SUMMARY

Our client is looking for a Marketing Analytics Associate that will manage and carry out a diverse range of analytical assessments, projects and activities to support the performance of a product segment of the company, which markets and sells products to customers throughout Texas. In addition to preparing financial analyses, you will be involved in budgeting and forecasting, which will help drive campaign planning and business unit decision making. This role will collect and synthesize information from various functional groups, such as supply, structuring, marketing and channel management, and customer operations to prepare analyses and recommendations.

 

• Prepare financial analyses to drive business unit decision making around acquisition, renewal and conversion activities.• Support development and execution of campaigns, working closely with the marketing team to ensure analytics are delivered for on-time execution.• Support business budgeting and forecasting processes. • Develop ad hoc analyses to address pressing business needs.• Identify opportunities for improvement and engage in cross-functional initiatives to drive increased performance.REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years work experience required, preferably in the deregulated energy market.

• Marketing, operations consulting or strategy a plus. • Strong grasp of financial analysis (NPV, payback, cash flow forecasting) and ability to quickly develop and/or modify Excel models to drive decision making. • Detail-oriented and highly organized.• Proven commitment to delivering results on-time.Comfort with ambiguity; ability to work with incomplete data; able to provide ‘directionally correct’ results when appropriate.• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. • Strong interpersonal relationship skills; resilience and tenacity to juggle multiple competing interests and drive to a resolution.• Excellent oral and written communication skills • Capable of working independently and on a team; flexibility to work in fast-paced, lean environment; effective at managing multiple issues simultaneously; able to adapt quickly to new situations. • High integrity, energy, enthusiasm and tenacity.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required. MBA desired.

 

JOB TYPE

Direct-hire to start as soon as possible.

 

PAY & BENEFITS

$65,000.00-75,000.00, Depending on experience!
