Exempt Job Description
The Director of Marketing will plan, develop, and coordinate the marketing plan for PathFinder products and services. The chosen candidate must have a proven record in marketing for the Energy Services industry. Ongoing global and focused market and product research, strategic marketing planning, and project execution will be major job functions for this position.
Job ResponsibilitiesProvide market-based, strategic leadership to the business.Develop an external understanding of our value proposition for targeted market segments, both geographically and through new business models.Work with R&D to understand technology and advertise to the public.Develop strategic brand opportunities to differentiate PathFinder services and products / services within the Energy Services industry.Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions. Monitor competitive products, costs, pricing, and marketing activities.Direct and oversee Company participation in domestic and global tradeshows, conventions, committees, workshops, and industry networks. Oversee the creation of marketing media and materials to support product sales (website, brochures, sales kits etc.)Create presentation tools and ensure that sales personnel have access to them.Develop internal and external new product launch materialsDevelop strategic initiatives to penetrate into new or target markets both by product and or locationDevelop and manage the marketing operating budget.
Job Skills & RequirementsStrong knowledge of Energy Services industry.Strong analytical, planning, and creative skills.Advanced computer skills.Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills.Ability to manage external resources with project based tasksPositive track record with team leadership, organization, and prioritization.Market analysis, business modeling, and market survey familiarity.Able to travel up to 25% of the time.
Education & ExperienceBachelor Degree in Marketing, Engineering, or Energy Services related program.Minimum of 10 years of related marketing experience, including 5 years customer relationship experience.International marketing experience preferred.
