Measurement Manager G&P - Springtown, TX (Ft Worth Area)

Organizational Statement Enbridge Energy Company, Inc, a leader in crude and natural gas transportation, gathering, and processing has a newly created opening for a Manager of Measurement. May be located in Springtown, Shamrock or Pampa, TX. This position is responsible for the overall accuracy of measured and reported volumes as well as the accuracy of all gas component analysis reported and used for volumetric calculations. This position is also responsible for coordination of the monthly close with the field supervisors and the Houston measurement and the downstream systems. Working with the field supervisors in the resolution of volumetric disputes from customers, state, federal and other governmental agencies and audits of volumetric disputes with third party custody transfer.Responsibilities ¿ Supervise and direct measurement activities in the operating service regions¿ Coordinate system improvements, modifications, and other special projects¿ Ensure compliance with company policies related to OSHA, EPA, and PHMSA requirements¿ Provide information and/or assistance to management and employees¿ Compile, prepare, and/or analyze various reports and documents relating to budgets, measurement, and accounting¿ Technically proficient in gas measurement.¿ Thorough knowledge and experience with Measurement system software, i.e. FlowCal.¿ Responsible for leadership and focus of the field measurement practices¿ Creates, adheres and implements to measurement practices and standardization of procedures.¿ Responsible for measurement performance and accountability.¿ Drives implementation and execution of problem resolution in the field, with SCADA, IT and Revenue Accounting.¿ Integrates industry changes into Company processes and procedures.¿ Prepares tracks and verifies measurement budgets and operational costs.¿ Identification of required Field Training and support needed by Measurement Department.¿ Consistency of measurement computer loads and updates.¿ Identifies value leakage problems and is ultimately accountable for eliminating them.¿ Directs job responsibilities and work loads within the Measurement Department.¿ Thorough knowledge of applicable natural gas measurement standards¿ Reconcile monthly third party measurement volumes.¿ Evaluate current measurement and quality processes to identify opportunities for improvement.¿ Document and report reconciliations, key initiatives, ongoing analysis, and audit findings.¿ Provide technical support, design support, and commissioning support to new/existing metering facilities¿ Provide and track technical training for all measurement personnel ¿ Provide open and transparent communication of all measurement information and issues with all related departmentsQualifications The ideal candidate will possess:¿ Related university technical/engineering degree or equivalent from technical school or 15 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and related experience ¿ Requires a strong knowledge of Microsoft computer applications, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook. ¿ Innovative, with strong analytical and problem solving skills. ¿ Very good interpersonal and communication skills; facilitating, empowering, open/honest communication, encourages others to excel. ¿ Good judgment and must function in a team environment. ¿ The ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and/or projects concurrently.Equal Employment Opportunity We appreciate your interest in Enbridge Energy Company, Inc.
