With four locations across the globe, Rio Tinto Shared Services provides a myriad of specialized services to many Rio Tinto Business Units throughout the world. Its services include information technology support, facilities management, and accounting.

Responsibilities:
Within the Shared Service delivery model and under the responsibility of the Regional Hub Manager, support international and domestic assignees post the selection process to the end of assignment in the host country. The Specialist is the main point of contact for both Domestic and International assignees.

Within the company policy framework, provides counseling and consulting services to International and Domestic assignees, Managers and Human Resources ProfessionalsComplete the letter of offer document which includes the determination of the compensation package, obtain approval from business and ensure signed offer is returned to IM.Within the framework of company policies, answer assignees questions and document the questions and answers accordinglyAddress and resolve assignee and BU issues on a timely manner by performing research analysisupon requestParticipate to the development and maintenance of policies to provide customers viewAs per Rio Tinto continuous improvement practices, participate in the improvement and maintenance of the domestic and international mobility processesCommunicate new development to peers, management and assigneesOversee the data management responsibility of the administratorAssist in reporting as necessaryInitiate vendor processesAddress issues between the vendor and the assignee and escalate as appropriate

Qualifications:University degree preferably in HR or related field2 to 4 years of relevant experienceHR license or certification (optional)
